Catering Assistant - Monday - Friday (30 hours) - Newent

Catering Assistant- 30 hours per week across Monday - Friday 8am-2pm- £7.80 ph

Servest are recruiting for an experienced Catering Assistant to work within an onsite restaurant within a site based in Newent (GL18 postcode). As a catering assistant you will have exposure to all areas of the restaurant- we are looking for someone who is used to working in a team, covering all areas front and back of house and that can communicate effectively with the customers and onsite client.

Shift times- Monday - Friday - 8am-2pm (30 hours per week)- £7.80-ph (flexibility needed with hours)

We are also recruiting for a 20 hours per week Catering Assistant working 11am-3pm/ 12-4pm £8.50ph

START DATE 14th AUGUST

Day to day duties will include:

· Assisting the Chef Manager with basic food preparation

· Serving customers

· Cash handling - till work

· General cleaning of the kitchen and restaurant areas

To be considered for this role you must ideally have a background of working in a commercial kitchen environment as a Catering/ General Assistant or similar. Ideally you will hold your basic food hygiene certificate.

Due to the nature of the role you will be in direct contact with the customers and onsite client- we are looking for a high standard of customer service, someone with the ability to work to tight deadlines , be pro-active and happy to work in a fast paced environment. This is a small team so you need to be hands on and happy to support where needed.
