Our client, a highly successful group of companies operating as a specialist retail business, is seeking to appoint a hands-on Financial Controller to control all accounting and financial matters, reporting to the Managing Director.Duties include:
* Purchase ledger
* Sales ledger
* VAT returns
* Bank reconciliations
* Recording of petty cash and expenses
* Credit Card Reconciliation
* Overseeing Monthly Payroll for 150 Staff
* Quarterly VAT returns
* Production of monthly management accounts
* Production of end of year accounts
* Analysis of profits and sales
* Forecasting & Budgeting
* Staff supervision
* Liaison with auditors, bank, HMRC, etc.
The successful candidate will be qualified or part-qualified ACA,ACCA,CIMA or AAT or qualified by experience, and will also take responsibility for various administration tasks within the business.
You will ideally have experience of Sage Line 50 and Sage Payroll.
