Reporting to the Electrical Team Leader and working closely with the CE&I and Design Capability Leaders, you will be responsible for the implementation and delivery of Engineering Design Work packages. Working within a close-knit, multi-disciplinary core team that directs and advises a wider team of over 50 staff and as part of the core team, your expertise will be integral in ensuring the success of the program by advising, assuring, scoping and planning in order to deliver smart and lean while retaining technical excellence in our front end engineering services

Requirements:
A demonstrable track record of managing engineering processes and assets to achieve delivery within an electrical engineering role/environment, including experience influencing professional peers and clients as well as overseeing and guiding technical personnel in the definition, implementation and delivery of engineering work packages.
?? Significant demonstrable expertise in one or more relevant specific specialist areas within electrical engineering.
?? Experience of working within a regulated and quality assured system in a capacity where both other staff and key decisions are reliant upon your professional engineering judgment and where design and guiding other technical personnel was a major part of the role.
?? Proven experience of working in roles where knowledge of electrical engineering in an infrastructure, building or process industries.
?? Knowledge of relevant design tools, techniques and related methods e.g. IT systems, HazOp process, SIL assessments.
?? Highly competent in the specification of development work as well as the assurance, validation and refinement of designs within a wider program / piece of work.
?? Current experience of plant and equipment, including solutions regulations, standards and operating environment influences.
?? Ability to think outside the specialism and integrate multi-disciplinary requirements into holistic coordinated solutions.
?? Knowledge of laws, regulations, processes and procedures appropriate to the sector
?? Competent with design software as well as other standard products
?? Strong written and verbal communication skills, the ability to build strong and honest relationships with clients and peers while retaining a collaborative approach to working.
?? Excellent planning, organizational and time management skills.
?? Prior experience managing and delivering projects (ideally of a technical nature).
?? A demonstrable track record of engineering processes to achieve delivery within an engineering role/environment, including technical definition, implementation and delivery of engineering work packages.
?? Significant demonstrable expertise in one or more relevant specific specialist areas within your field of engineering.
?? Experience of working within a regulated and quality assured system in a capacity where both other staff and key decisions are reliant upon your professional engineering judgment and where design and guiding other technical personnel was a major part of the role.
?? Experience of working in roles where knowledge of electrical engineering was a key attribute.
?? Experience within the utilities sector (knowledge of Sellafield Ltd considered an asset).
?? Clean driving license.
Qualifications:
?? Chartered status through IET, IEEE, CIBSE, or other relevant body and degree qualified;
Desirable skills and knowledge:
?? Experience of working in a wide variety of sectors

The role holder will be required to obtain the following clearances:

?? Scottish Disclosure
Flexible Working:
Based in our co-located offices in Whitehaven or Risley (Warrington). However, as Sellafield is a working site it is expected that you will spend a portion of your time n Cumbria as required by the projects, with travel to other offices as required
