Purpose

The job holder is responsible for providing implementation and administration support to deliver new business initiatives. Working closely with the Implementation Manager and Agency Team, the role holder will be responsible for internal processes and collate and deliver information to business stakeholders which is accurate, consistent and timely manner; with a particular focus on support to Broker Development and Distribution Management teams in the field. The job holder will continually look at ways to automate processes which will lead to efficiency to implementation processes and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Implementation Manager, the role of Implementation Assistant includes responsibility and accountability for:

* Initiating and coordinating a variety of business opportunities including planning and tracking implementation progress and engaging with stakeholders throughout the business
* Providing regular reporting on opportunity progress to stakeholders including highlighting potential threats to delivery of implementation plans
* Ensuring recordkeeping systems and form controls are up to date and accurate, particularly Sage CRM
* Identify, make recommendations on and implement improvements to process and procedures within your remit
* Support the team in applying/adopting any operational and/or procedural changes
* To support and develop effective working relationships with all functional areas within the business
* Understanding and applying all company policies and procedures to ensure service standards are met in accordance with both internal and external regulatory requirements

Product & Technical Knowledge

* Intermediate MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel skills
* Experience in the insurance industry
* Knowledge of insurance principles and products
* Knowledge of the legal, regulatory and compliance provisions that apply to our distribution channels and markets in which we operate
