Financial Reporting Manager - Southampton
£50000 - £65000 per annum
Client is an international listed insurance business in their search for a Financial Reporting Manager. A vital role in the Group Finance function, with excellent opportunity for further development and progression, key responsibilities will include:
* Managing a small team
* Lead production of monthly and quarterly IFRS financial statements
* Preparation of annual statutory financial statements and production of data for annual regulatory returns
* Production of key ad-hoc analysis for senior stakeholders
* Process improvement and enhancement of analytics
* Embed robust controls and efficient processes
* Implement new internal and external reporting requirements
Key accountabilities:
* Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
* Insurance experience essential
* Staff management experience
* Senior financial reporting experience (IFRS)
* Good working knowledge of financial systems
* Excellent communication skills
