Blok 'N' Mesh UK Ltd have an exciting opportunity available for a Depot Manager to join the team based at our small but busy Birmingham depot. In return, as our Depot Manager, you will receive a competitive salary.
We are proud to be the United Kingdom’s leading manufacturer, supplier and installer of temporary fencing and hoarding products. We supply a complete range of steel hoarding, temporary fencing and demarcation / pedestrian barriers. Manufactured, delivered, installed, dismantled and relocated nationwide, covering the UK with our 15 depots.
Reporting to the National Operations Manager, as our Depot Manager you will be responsible for all functions of the depot, including the day-to-day management of all staff, the depot's yard and transport, stock levels and administration.
Our ideal Depot Manager:
- Previous management and industry experience is preferred.
- Computer literacy and UK Driver’s License is essential
- Possession of a current and valid forklift truck training certificate and a CSCS card, as well as knowledge of transport logistics and law, are all highly advantageous.
Basic hours of work are 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. However, some working flexibility is required to ensure the efficient running of the depot.
