Marketing & Events Executive
A multi-tasked role the Marketing & Events Executive will support the marketing function with the day-to-day planning and delivery of the NEAA events, liaising with cluster participants to develop an industry-led calendar of events and workshops. This will include the development and delivery of the annual North East Automotive Expo, with support from the extended NEAA team; and a series of workshops for the ERDF funded ACE SME programme.
The Marketing & Events Executive will ensure all NEAA events are effectively promoted via the full mix of online and offline platforms, manage the booking of events and all elements of planning, briefing the NEAA team as required.
The Marketing & Events Executive will also help develop the network, arranging and carrying out marketing campaigns and communication projects, including monthly e-Newsletters, website and social media platforms.
Excellent written and oral communications, interpersonal skills, the ability to work at a strategic and operational level and an understanding or awareness of public sector funding rules and governance frameworks are a requirement for the successful applicant. Based in the Sunderland office this position will require travel and the successful candidate will be required to have own transport and insurance to cover business use.
This is a full time role of 35 hours per week. The salary awarded to the successful candidate will be depending upon experience, plus company pension, 25 days holiday per annum and business mileage awarded at 45p per mile.
