Principal Teachers are seeking to recruit Humanities Teachers with specialisms in any discipline (Geography, History or Religious Studies). We are working with a number of secondary schools within the North Yorkshire area with vacancies from September for Humanities Teachers. We have both full time and part time roles available meaning we can cater to your lifestyle needs. Successful applicants should be able to teach Humanities subject(s) to at least KS3 and KS4 level but experience of teaching KS5 would also be advantageous.
The successful applicant will have:
-Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) recognisable in the UK
-Strong behaviour and classroom management skills
-Previous experience of teaching in the UK
-Knowledge of the current Secondary National Curriculum requirements for Geography/RE/History
-Enthusiasm for the role and a creative flare
-The ability to form excellent working relationships with staff and pupils from a diverse range of backgrounds
-Experience of planning and assessment to a very high standard
-A commitment to improving attainment for all students
-A proven track record for raising attainment and achieving targets
