Warehouse Assistant / Coordinator

About the role
The Warehouse Assistant/Coordinator is responsible for assisting with handling, shipping and receiving ingredients and inventories on a daily basis. They must ensure products meet quality standards and are responsible for ensuring daily production has a consistent and timely supply chain.
Main responsibilities
- Keeping packaging and fresh ingredients storage areas organised
- Stock management, planning forward orders as necessary
- Managing receivables transfer to warehouse and production
- Ensure all paperwork is clear and accurate
- Assist production teams and management staff
- Ensuring cleanliness of all storage areas and cold rooms
- Comply with Health & Safety policies and procedures at all times
Candidate requirements
- Previous experience within a warehouse role
- Able to work well in a team
- Computer literate - Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Good communicator
About the company
- Their facility produces from Sunday to Thursday, 7am - 8:30pm.
- They prepare 2,500-3,000 meals every day
- They are located in Park Royal, London.
- 5 minute walk from Central Middlesex Hospital bus station
- 10 minute walk from Harlesden, North Acton or Park Royal tube stations.
This role is a permanent role with part time hours. The hourly rate is GBP8.50 with the opportunity to increase this rate after the trial period.
