Driving Plus are delighted to be given an opportunity to work with one of the UK's leading retail companies as the lead supplier of HGV drivers, to their distribution centre in Avonmouth.
This fantastic opportunity will enable us to give drivers an ongoing assignment, working 5 out of 7 days per week, on either AM and PM shifts, regular start times, excellent hourly rates of pay. The role will include delivering products to store locations throughout the South West and South Wales, manual labour is minimal but required and full training will be given. You will be expected to pass our client's assessment, upon completion we will be able to fix each successful driver to a regular 5 out 7 day working pattern ongoing long term.
The pay rates for Ltd Company drivers are as follows:
* Monday to Friday Days - GBP11.50 per hour
* Monday to Friday Nights - GBP12.75 per hour
* Saturday - GBP14.50 per hour
* Sunday - GBP15.50 per hour
* Bank Holidays - GBP18.00 per hour
Bonus Payment:
As from Sunday 13th of August through to Saturday 9th of September all drivers that complete their booked shifts will receive uplift of GBP1.50 per hour that will be paid after 4 weeks being completed. Cancellation of any shifts you declared to attend could include a lost entitlement to a bonus.
Summer bonus: register and complete working 10 shifts to be able to receive GBP250 new starter bonus.
Only HGV category C+E drivers will qualify. A minimum of 12 months HGV driving experience is desirable. You must have no more than 6 penalty points for driving offences and no driving bans. References to cover the last 3 years will be required
