JOB DESCRIPTION
PROJECT ENGINEER
Summary
Flow Control is seeking an experienced Project Engineer who will be responsible for project planning, design, execution, testing, field installation of Optical Monitoring system. The Project engineer will represent the company on international projects delivering solutions in various sectors.
Main responsibilities
- Lead key project activities with customers and project stakeholders to gather requirements, design appropriate solutions and present complete project plans.
- Ability to understand technical requirements, design solution, work closely with the prodction team for building the system.
- Maintain constant communication with the customer, identify potential issues in advance, and drive appropriate solutions
- Able to convert requirement into work packages, subsequently define a project plan, cost estimation and implementation of activities within the customer's scope .
- Prepare and produce project technical documentation including technical design and drawings (MS Office) .
- Conduct Factory Acceptance & complete on-site installation and commissioning
- Support sub-contractors with installation and commissioning activities all around the world.
- Conduct Site Acceptance Testing as per procedures and provide technical system training to the clients upon completion of the projects.
- Assist Sales team for preparing RFQ and RFP.
Skills and qualifications
- Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering/Computer science/Physics
- Must have experience with fiber optics, communications protocols (TCP/IP) and electrical systems.
- Project Management certificate, Prince2 or any other.
- Experience in project life cycle.
- Excellent computer literacy (MS project, MS Office).
- Strong interpersonal skills, self-confidence, willingness to learn and ability to execute project internationally.
- Full UK diving license, clean passport for international travels.
- Must be able to travel (nationally and internationally.)
