Physics Graduate Teaching Assistant- Person Specification
The ideal candidate for this role will have graduated from a Russell Group or Oxbridge university and is passionate about pursuing a long term career in education and would like to gain experience prior to undertaking a PGCE or alternative teacher training. You will have an excellent academic record with Good A-levels in Science related subjects and have achieved a 2:1 or higher in your Physics degree. You will be a driven yet empathetic individual who has previous experience working with young people and has picked up transferable skills that you can use in a School environment.
This role will involve working exclusively within the physics department, supporting gifted and talented Physics students through their GCSE and A-Level exams. You must find innovative ways to assist the learning of the students as well as providing them with moral and pastoral support throughout this stressful time in their lives. You will be joining an 'outstanding' staff team who will provide you with extensive training and support throughout your time at the school.
