Role Overview
We are looking for people who possess a passion for driving, delivering fantastic customer service and have the desire to go the extra mile. In this role you will be working on our prestigious Lafarge contract delivering bagged cement. You will always strive to exceed customer expectations building an innovative, effective and respected relationship.
Key Responsibilities
- You will be driving a class 1 curtain side or powder tank vehicle, delivering packed or bulk cement to builders merchants, in and around London and the South East.
- You will need to be flexible with regards to base location and also which type of work you will be deployed on.
- The bulk will be delivered in powder tanks, which training will be provided, mainly to readymix sites.
- The majority of packed deliveries are full loads however there is the odd occasion of multidrops, upto 5 drops per trip.
- You will work Monday to Friday with Saturdays on a rostered basis.
- This is predominantly a night shift role
- Payrate is GBP14.68 for nights and GBP12.68 for days.
- You will be guaranteed ATLEAST 40 hours
Experience and Qualifications
You will need to have a class 1 licence (C+E)
Have a good awareness of delivering a fantastic customer service
Be enthusiastic, reliable and customer faced
Punctual, good communication skills and have a good work ethic.
Good geographical knowledge is beneficial
