Essential Criteria
• Advanced level in Microsoft Office especially Microsoft Excel
• Ability to produce monthly management accounts
• Experienced Credit Controller
• Organised and efficient

Core duties
• Producing sales invoices from our delivery tickets and processing them on a daily basis.
• Processing all purchase invoices and keeping on top of all credit control to make sure invoices are chased up and paid when required.
• Deal with all client and supplier queries, general daily banking, bank reconciliation and petty cash.
• Maintain Excel Spread sheets and to create new ones as and when required.
• Liaise with the accountant on a weekly basis to produce wages from internal timesheets.
• Act as a PA to the Financial Director as and when necessary and liaise with them on any new projects.
• Process VAT returns and HMRC tax payments and produce supplier payments.
• Answer internal and external calls and any other ad-hoc duties as directed.

The candidate would need to be used to working in a small team and must be amiable, efficient and have the ability to work under their own supervision.

The company
Our client is a small, well established family run company. Their main business is the supply of aggregates to the construction industry throughout the North West using their own fleet of tipper/crane wagons. They also have another division based at the same location which is an Engineers Merchants.
