Our Client is looking to recruit enthusiastic keen trainee PCV drivers to join their Coach Driver Training Scheme within our Fareham and Worthing depots.

About the Role

They have high expectations of our people, and as a driver you will be a key ambassador of the company and a champion of high quality standards. You will have an appreciation that coach driving is not just a job, but a professional vocation, and be willing to rise to the challenge of transporting our valued customers to a variety of places. The hours can vary and due to the nature of the business every hire and every day can be different.

About You

• To meet their high expectations, you will need to be extremely safety conscious, be passionate about customer service, and be willing to learn and develop your skills and knowledge. In return, you will be supported by our team of welcoming and experienced trainers who will encourage and develop you to gain a qualification for life.
• You will have a professional attitude to work, a flair for customer service, and possess excellent driving skills, as well as be able to recall and apply information learnt during training.
• You will be at least 18 years of age and hold a Full UK driving licence (Cat B). (Certain penalty points are permitted however all driving licences will be vetted by our insurance underwriters). You will be required to undertake a PCV medical examination, and random drug/alcohol testing.

Salary and Benefits

• Starting salary £8.19 per hour during training and rising to £8.77 newly qualified driver, with increments thereafter, and competitive benefits.

Enhanced DBS checks will be required to meet our commitment to safeguarding young children and vulnerable adults who may use our services.
