Celtic Horizons delivers estate services for United Welsh; including gas servicing, grounds maintenance, cleaning, repairs and maintenance. Celtic Horizons was the first wholly owned subsidiary of its kind formed by United Welsh who have entered into a partnership with Mears Group. Celtic Horizons care for over 5000 properties spanning over 11 local authority areas in South Wales.
An excellent opportunity has now arisen for a Planner to join us at our office based in Caerphilly.
Within this role, you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining PDA control allocation and will monitor daily work volumes ensuring efficient use of resources to meet turnaround timescales. Whilst ensuring employees have the workload to allow them to perform to an optimum level at all times, you will also provide supporting information on operative performance levels.
In order to be successful in this role, it is essential that you have an understanding of the construction industry, including trades, materials, processes and safety. With an understanding of the MCM and Mears Appoint systems and administration, you will have the ability to load and maintain data for handheld hardware.
Good IT knowledge (inc. HHT devices) will also be required, along with strong organisational skills necessary to manage and organise own workload.
Although not essential, knowledge of gas compliance would be desirable.
Above all, the successful Planner will possess a strong customer focus with ability to motivate others with the passion to thrive.
