Build Project Manager (Thames Estuary)
GBP55,000 - GBP60,000 p/a with Company car (or car allowance), benefits package including bonus scheme, healthcare and pension with a generous holiday entitlement.
Build Project Manager required for an immediate start working on new build and refurbishment Commercial, Industrial and Stadia projects across the Thames Estuary region (project values up to GBP50m).
My Client is a Main Contractor with a turnover +GBP500m specialising in the Commercial and Industrial sectors and with continued growth are looking to recruit an experienced Project Manager to deliver projects across the Thames Estuary region.
Duties and responsibilities include:
Maintaining the highest standards of health, safety and environmental management.
Implementing project strategies in order to achieve the Company`s sustainability objectives.
Establishing and maintaining standards of quality on site and ensure delivery of a quality build in accordance with the project specifications and requirements.
Managing Client expectations and adopting a professional and considerate approach to maintaining good working relations.
Implementing the supply chain policy.
Producing and developing project programmes and controlling operations to achieve delivery of the project on time.
Eliminating waste and avoidance of non-recoverable costs and preliminaries losses.
Maintaining continuous professional development to ensure appropriate technical awareness.
Implementing standard procedures.
Managing project handover and ensuring defect/snag free completion.
Implementing best practice and driving continuous improvement.
Successful candidates will be required to travel across the Thames Estuary region and possess extensive commercial and contractual management, twinned with exceptional communication and leadership skills.
Candidates will also hold a minimum level 4 qualification (HNC) or equivalent, appropriate CSCS card, SMSTS certificate, First Aid at Work certificate and valid driving licence.
