Senior Supportability Engineer

FINTEC recruit is looking for a Senior Supportability Engineer for our Engineering client based in Barrow-In- Furness, Cumbria. This is a permanent position with a salary range GBP35,000 to GBP45,000, negotiable depending on experience. Experience in ILS is essential for this role.

Role and Responsibilities

As a Senior Supportability Engineer your responsibilities will include the following:-

Delivery of MS technical outputs in accordance with authorized work and schedules
*

Ensuring that MS engineering outputs are compliant with relevant standards
*

Ensuring plans, policies and processes are applied consistently to MS supportability engineering activities in relation to the design of Successor submarine
*

Engagement with the wider support community and MoD's assurance stakeholders
*

Interface being with the respective Supportability Engineering and ILS Managers and Technical Authorities

The ideal candidate for the Senior Supportability Engineer role will have:-

Proven experience of supportability engineering management within a range of design/In-Service submarine support activities; - essential
*

Experience in management of multi-disciplinary engineering team
*

Degree qualification, chartered status preferred
*

ILS knowledge and experience
