FINTEC recruit is looking for a Senior Supportability Engineer for our Engineering client based in Barrow-In- Furness, Cumbria. This is a permanent position with a salary range £35,000 to £45,000, negotiable depending on experience. Experience in ILS is essential for this role.
Role and Responsibilities
As a Senior Supportability Engineer your responsibilities will include the following:-
Delivery of MS technical outputs in accordance with authorized work and schedules
Ensuring that MS engineering outputs are compliant with relevant standards
Ensuring plans, policies and processes are applied consistently to MS supportability engineering activities in relation to the design of Successor submarine
Engagement with the wider support community and MoD's assurance stakeholders
Interface being with the respective Supportability Engineering and ILS Managers and Technical Authorities
The ideal candidate for the Senior Supportability Engineer role will have:-
Proven experience of supportability engineering management within a range of design/In-Service submarine support activities; - essential
Experience in management of multi-disciplinary engineering team
Degree qualification, chartered status preferred
ILS knowledge and experience
