FINTEC recruit is seeking a Supportability Engineer. This is a permanent position based in Barrow in Furness. Salary is negotiable by experience in the range of approx. £34k to £38k plus benefits and relocation assistance is available. You will require to hold or be able to gain UK Security Clearance for this position.
Role and Responsibilities:
- This role is involved in influencing and supporting the design of submarines working alongside a team of professional engineers.
- You will have excellent organisational and planning skills.
- RCM facilitations skills would be an advantage. Good project management skills is essential.
- The company will provide specific training
- You will be an articulate communicator, have drive and enthusiasm to progress projects through to completion
Requirements:
- Degree qualified OR (HND/HNC with relevant experience) in an engineering, maths, science discipline
- APMP project management certification an advantage
- Experience from naval, defence, marine, oil and gas, nuclear, petrochemical backgrounds will be considered.
