Electrical Project Engineer
GBP40'000 to GBP50'000 + Benefits + Package
Unique opportunity for an Electrical Project Engineer with a back-ground in construction or Building Services to work client side for a UK Data Centre provider, as they continue to expand their UK Data Centre operations. Forming part of a major global business the UK Data Centre operation has sites in Hertfordshire & Berkshire and were established in 2013, progressing impressively to employing over 100 staff and turning over more than GBP43m. They currently own and operate 4 Data Centres in the UK they are in process of designing and building a 5th, with plans in place to build additional Data Centres across their UK operation.
Key to their further grow plans is their Design and Construction team which provides technical support during the complete life cycle of a data centre project. The successful Electrical Project Engineer will join this team and become involved from bid phase, through design, construction and onto commissioning and operation. Additionally, there will opportunity to provide technical assistance to the pre-sales, account management and operations teams and at points directly to customers.
The Role
* Provide timely, clear, accurate and consistent progress reporting to all stakeholders, including summary reporting at Director level.
* Pro-actively identify, track, manage and resolve all related issues, risks, dependencies, assumptions, actions and changes.
* Plan and manage on a day to day basis, all resources, activities, work packages and deliverables needed to achieve the required project objectives, working across both internal functions (technical design, operational etc.) and external contractors / suppliers.
