An exciting HR opportunity has arisen within a professional services company in Manchester city centre. The role is to join the team as a HR Coordinator where you will provide administrative support to a busy HR team.

The key responsibilities for a HR Coordinator are:

  • Inputting and ensuring data on all employees is effectively maintained in the computerised HR system
  • Producing contracts of employment, variation to contract letters and other similar correspondence on behalf of, and under the guidance of the HR Assistant/Advisors/Manager
  • Maintaining the personnel files for every employee, including filing any correspondence appropriately, setting up new starter files and archiving leaver files
  • Organising and maintaining the information on the central HR shared drive to ensure easy and straightforward accessibility
  • Answer the telephone and transfer the call to the appropriate person or take appropriate messages for the HR team.
  • Calculating annual leave entitlement
  • Minute taking at meetings, as and when required
  • Meet and greet visitors and offer hospitality
  • Undertake other administrative tasks as and when required including: typing correspondence, photocopying, faxing and producing new starter packs
  • Ensure the confidentiality of the HR Office and deal scrupulously with confidential materials both written and verbal

As a HR Coordinator your ideal skills and experience will include:

  • Experience within HR is desirable
  • Experience of working flexibly within an environment where priorities often change
  • Experience of working in a high volume transaction processing environment, ideally with HR processes
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Ability to prioritise workload
  • Excellent oral and written communication
  • Proficient use of Microsoft office packages
  • This is a great opportunity for who is looking for an opportunity within HR who comes from a strong administration background and looking for a step up. The role will be a full time ongoing temporary contract and requires an immediate start.
