Freight Domestic Operator
Set up in 2014 by three former directors of one of the UK's largest European groupage operator. My client is now a GBP12 million turnover company operating multi-model services. Through driving innovation, they have taken freight to the next level by offering a market leading European groupage service with daily departures, less transit hubs and rapid transit times servicing across Europe.
Due to growth my client is now looking for a Domestic Operator to organise freight solutions within our busy freight forwarding department to continue the company's growth.
You will provide advice on the best solution and most commercially viable method of transporting freight; pallets, groupage, full loads, out of gauge etc. You will build and develop relationships with suppliers to engender loyalty ensuring the Company remains competitive within the market place on both price and service.
The successful candidate will be from in a similar role within the freight industry with a proactive and practical approach to sourcing freight solutions. You will be expected to use your own initiative, be customer focused and a team player
