Our client is looking for 5 x Installation Team Leaders to join their expanding company based in Telford.
The company are part of leading European manufacturer with an annual turnover well in excess of GBP80 million. Committed to continuous development and specialisation in design, manufacture and installation.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the following duties:
- To assemble Company Product, work with & lead teams of three to twelve Installers, delivering, safely and on time.
- To ensure the efficient use of Plant & Tools.
- Deputise for Supervisor in his absence and always ensure best practice
- To ensure team utilise the correct tools & plant in carrying out work.
- To work collaboratively with colleagues & other contractors
- To be mindful of H&S in all that he/she does.
- Assemble product safely & in a timely manner.
- The carry out clear instructions from Supervisor and to work safely & be mindful in the safety of others.
The ideal candidate will hold the following skills and/or experience:
- Technical skills & experience ideally working with steel
- The ability to correctly install company product under supervision.
- Adaptable & Flexible.
- Willing to Travel & Work Away when required.
- The ability to communicate with all Site based staff including Managers Sub-Contractors & Customers
- Clean Drivers Licence - must be prepared to travel
- First Aider
- Minimum requirements CSCS card
- Asbestos awareness
- IOSH or NEBOSH
The working hours are Monday to Friday inclusive 7.45am to 4.15pm, half an hour lunch break unpaid. In addition to these hours there will be 1.5 hours unpaid travel.
Holiday entitlement 25 days paid holiday and 8 days statutory.
In return you will be paid a starting salary of GBP10.56 per hour for the first three months through the probationary period.
After a successful probationary period of 3 months the salary will increase to an hourly rate of GBP11.23.
Holiday entitlement 25 days paid holiday and 8 days statutory.
