The Warranty Advisor is responsible for assisting, administering, authorising, managing and processing Warranty claims for all work undertaken by the authorised Dealer network.
Responsibilities:
- To assist in the process of warranty claims/approvals/authorisation requests, reject incorrect/invalid claims & approvals, authorise repair work as per the agreed criteria via the SSD platform in a timely manner
- Provide information/data/reports in relation to warranty claims/repairs when requested
- To provide a point of contact with the claims adjudication team and the Dealer Network
- Provide technical advice and solutions to defects/repair/procedural queries raised by the Dealer Network and all relevant areas of the business having due regard to the costs incurred
- Ensure vehicle repair costs comply with the manufacturer labour codes and times, and that the parts used are correct for the repair undertaken
- To achieve all stated department KPI's and maintain focus on all company financial objectives
- To monitor and record any non-conformance of the quality systems and implement and record the required corrective and preventative action within your area of responsibility
- To ensure compliance and show commitment to all laid down procedures and company directive
- To provide information, maintain records and carry out all duties in an accurate, efficient and timely manner
- To undertake such other tasks as may reasonably be required
- To enhance the image and reputation of the company whilst supporting its commercial interests
- To comply with good health and safety practice, all statutory requirements, company policies and standard procedures
Person Specification:
- Technical/professional knowledge and skills
- Served technical apprenticeship and/or engineering qualification preferred
- Full driving licence
- Proficient computer keyboard skills
- Previous experience in the commercial vehicle industry
- Communication skills internal and external
- Customer focus internal and external
- Attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise a diverse workload
To be considered for the role you must have technical knowledge within the Automotive industry
