An experienced and reliable Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst is being sought by a well-known asbestos and environmental consultancy in the North West and will include applications from Greater Manchester, Lancashire, Cheshire and the surrounding areas.
Qualifications & Experience:
The applicant must hold the P402/P403/P404 or the equivalent RSPH qualifications.
Must have a proven track record working within this role and the asbestos industry.
Will possess good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Be fully conversant with the Asbestos Health & Safety procedures.
Key Tasks:
Asbestos Management, Refurbishment/Demolition surveys on various sites.
Carrying out asbestos smoke, background, leak, reassurance, re-occupation, visual, personal air testing, and 4 stage clearances.
Supervising asbestos contractors on site and ensuring that they adhere to the Asbestos Health and Safety procedures.
Collating and producing comprehensive reports.
Building and maintaining a good relationship with new and existing clients.
The successful candidate will be an all-rounder, flexible and have a good work ethic.
Have the ability to work effectively and travel to sites designated by the client.
