Graduate Transport Planner: An ambitious Graduate seeking to develop a career in transport & infrastructure planning is required to join a rapidly growing, dynamic, young transport planning consultancy.
The Graduate Transport Planner will work on a number of development projects, contributing toward transport assessments & statements, travel plans and junction modelling. You will develop an extensive understanding of development planning and gain industry essential software skills.
Although largely office based at the company's modern offices on the Surrey Research Park, visiting sites and attending meetings are also part of the job. Work will be carried out in small teams but may also involve liaising with consultants from a range of disciplines, such as town planning and architecture.
Skills & Experience:
* Educated to degree level - a in relevant subject: Civil Engineering; Geography; Environmental Sciences/Studies; Town/Urban Planning.
* Graduate or up to three years post-graduate transport planning.
* Highly numerate and analytical mindset.
* Strong report writing ability and exceptional eye for detail.
* Effective communication and presentation skills.
* Experience with Excel, AutoCAD, Arcady, Picady or LinSig would be beneficial (not essential).
* Self-motivated.
* Strong team player.
* Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
