++ We are looking for a skilled web developer to join our growing digital team ++ 

You’ll be responsible for producing powerful websites and applications for our portfolio of blue chip clients that reside in the motorcycle, automotive and motorsport sectors.

As a mid-level web developer, you should have extensive experience with PHP (OOP) and have a good understanding of working with HTML, CSS and JavaScript. If you’re passionate about building software and thrive from working in a small team of developers and designers, then we’d love to meet you!

The digital team is part of a Media Agency which has rapidly grown in the last 17 years into one of the most established global motorcycle PR agencies.

Responsibilities:

- Produce fully functional applications writing clean, usable code
- Collaborate internally and with clients to identify requirements
- Integrate with API’s to create effective backend solutions
- Design user interfaces and web layouts using best practices
- Perform periodical upgrades and debugging to maximize program efficiency
- Suggest new features to improve application operation
- Maintain existing web applications
- Create technical documentation for user support
- Follow the latest standards and techniques
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments leveraging the latest technologies to enhance company output

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a web developer
- Hands on experience with various programing languages
- Strong working understanding of HTML/CSS & JavaScript
- Knowledge of Object Oriented Programming and web application development
- Strong attention to detail and an eye for perfection
- Project management skills within a fast-paced work environment
- Effective communication skills both verbally and written
- Ability to work within a team or alone using initiative and being proactive

Good to have:

Whilst not required, experience in any of the below is beneficial:

- PHPStorm
- GIT / Version Control
- Laravel or any other framework experience
- WordPress for supporting older websites
- Vagrant
- Vue.js, Lodash & jQuery
- Interest in motorsport and witty banter
