Senior Structural Design Engineer - South West

As a Structural Design Engineer your role will be a combination of leadership, client facing and design. You will be a technically, commercially minded person and a people manager.

This role is a for a National Consultancy who works in the Architecture and Building Structures sectors. This will be working as a Structural Design Engineer managing clients in the commercial and mixed use developments, heritage and leisure sectors.

We are seeking a Structural Engineer to join a reputable engineering consultancy within a regional office. This is a rare opportunity for a Structural Engineer or somebody with a Structural Engineering background to work as technically-minded design engineer.

Although you will have Structural Engineering duties; main responsibilities will be within providing a person-centred approach; ensuring both staff members and clients are happy. You will also support the junior members of staff.

You will be either Chartered or Near Chartered. Also you will have experience with:

- Client management

- Managing projects and resources

- Providing technical leadership

- Providing solutions and overseeing preliminary and detailed designs
