Engineering Shift Manager
Salary: GBP45,000 per annum
Shift Pattern: Continental 6am -6pm /6pm-6am
Commutable from: Peterborough, Hitchin, Bedford, St Neots, Huntingdon, Newmarket

• The successful Engineering Shift Manager will have proven and time served experience in management from a manufacturing background, and possess excellent interpersonal skills.

The Role
The responsibilities of the Engineering Shift Manager will include:
• The management of a team up to 5 engineers, covering production, site services and projects.
• You will ensure the development of the engineers, manage their skills matrix and supporting the department to deliver a more effective engineering function.
• You will also have a proven track record in supporting the development of a PPM system and help to deliver effective response to breakdowns.
• The key to this position is having the ability to think pragmatically under pressure.
• The role of the Engineering Shift Manager is pivotal in improving the performance of the whole company. This means you must be confident in your ability to forge strong relationships with peers and coworkers to create your success for the Engineering function
