Main Responsibilities:
Responsibilities will include ensuring appropriate corporate policies are incorporated into business processes optimising use of corporate resources with regards to audits. You will be leading the way in ensuring quality levels of all inbound product per year across wet products, accessories and materials. As a Quality Manager you will also identify and manage appropriate KPIs for business including feedback and complaints, external supplier and internal operational performance. You will drive the agenda of continuous improvement and ensure action plans are in place and adhered to, to resolve any issues identified and provide insights to the business based on quality performance.
You will be responsible for root cause analysis on quality issues and providing Corrective Actions to resolve.
You will be responsible for a team of 6 across two sites - and be actively invested in their development. The role will involve working closely with the Technical, Supply and Operations and Customer Centre teams internally, as well as relevant stakeholders within their global parent organisation. Additionally you will be responsible for auditing supply chain partners and ensuring completion of monthly supplier scorecard.
To be successful for the role you will have previous experience in Quality Management within Cosmetics/ FMCG environment and be educated to degree level within related discipline. You will have a proven track record in continuous improvement and have excellent understanding of the importance of protecting the brand through ensuring quality of systems, process and products. You will have previous experience managing and developing a team of direct reports along with the ability to influence stakeholders cross functionally at all levels to implement improvements and to resolve issues. You will be solution orientated with pragmatic approach and the ability to work under pressure. As a Quality Manager you will have excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels, as you will be working cross functionally with formulation, packaging and supply and operations playing a pivotal role in ensuring global product quality. You will be equipped with a thorough understanding of the importance of right decisions made relating to product quality in retail environment.
