A range of secondary schools across Derby are in need of Cover Supervisors to work with them in day-to-day and short-term placements covering for absences across the range of secondary subjects.
Applicants for this flexible position should have strong classroom management skills, broad subject knowledge, and the ability to adapt to the varying needs of students across the secondary level. As a supply based Cover Supervisor, you will be expected to hit the ground running in new positions, making sure that lessons are delivered to a high standard and students are offered support if required. All applicants are also required to have a degree in any subject and 4 months or more of experience as a Cover Supervisor or Teacher within the last 2 years.
