My client in Stowmarket are looking for a Purchase Ledger Controller to join their successful business.

The ideal candidates will have a minimum of 2 years office experience within a Finance role.

Duties will include:

1. Update SAP with invoices in a timely manner.
2. Liaise with other departments and with suppliers as appropriate with regards to queried invoices, and resolve entries on the blocked invoice report.
3. Reconcile supplier statements to SAP and resolve any discrepancies.
4. Pay suppliers in accordance with the terms stated in the Company's purchasing policy; seeking approval for deviations from standard terms.
5. Post supplier payments to SAP
6. To ensure amendments to bank details in SAP are validated before BACS payments are made.
7. Check, process and pay employee expense claims in line with company policy
8. To ensure company procedures are followed and assist in the continuous improvement of processes
9. To undertake any other duties appropriate to the role.
