Chefs Direct are looking to recruit a head chef for a gastro pub in the Ilminster area of Somerset. This stunning property has an enviable reputation for it's modern British/European food and they are now looking to appoint a head chef to keep building on this foundation. Working with fresh, local and seasonal produce you will have the opportunity to create fantastic dishes for a discerning clientele as well as working with genuinely supportive owners. This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented chef that's looking to get on board with a solid team that love what they do. To be considered for this role you MUST:
- Have at least 2 year's experience at sous chef level.
- Have a background in "from fresh" establishments.
- Have sound financial and managerial acumen.
- Have a CV that reflects longevity with previous employers.
The salary on offer for this position is GBP35000 per annum (NEG/DOE).
