Job Title: Shunter / Cleaner

Location: Lancing

Salary: £9.00 per hour (plus additional £1.75 per hour for unsociable hours period)

Working Hours: 19:00 - 03:00 (4 on 4 off shifts)

Are you a proactive Shunter/Cleaner with driver's licence, looking for that next great opportunity to work for one of the South's leading coach operators, if so you could be just what our client is looking for!

The company is looking to recruit Shunter/Cleaner roles to join their hard-working committed team based at their Lancing depot, with a current regional fleet of 15 vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Shunting and parking vehicles as well as fuelling, toilet and water servicing
• Cleaning vehicle interiors & exteriors using the automated wash and by hand, whilst ensuring quality standards
• Using specialist equipment and chemicals to achieve the highest cleaning standards
• Helping to keep the depot clean and tidy
• Following engineering procedures
• Maintaining health & safety

The Candidate:

The company is looking for reliable professional and self-motivated team players. You will play a critical and valuable role in helping the company to ensure their vehicles are clean and ready for deployment. You will be an ambassador and champion for health and safety, and will have an eye for detail. You will also appreciate the importance of following procedures, whilst working on your own initiative and fulfilling your responsibilities to a high standard. Training and support will be provided.

You will be at least 18 years of age and hold a Full UK driving licence (Cat B). (Certain penalty points are permitted however all driving licences will be vetted by the insurance underwriters).

Key Skills Required:

• Previous experience working Nights in a fast-paced environment
• Previous experience of Shunting would be desirable
