FT3108 - Web Developer
FINTEC recruit is seeking a Web Developer for our Public service client based in Yorkshire. This is a permanent position with a salary of £29,000 to £34,000 depending on experience.
Essential:
- Extensive N-tier web application design and development using ASP.NET, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, XML, SQL, jQuery, JSON, MVC, and Solr
- Experience of technical development using Sitecore or equivalent Content Management Systems providing the platform for public websites
- Experience in the technical aspects of applying metadata standards and taxonomies in best practice Search Engine Optimisation and of configuring and supporting website search engines.
- Experience of working with Apache or IIS web server technologies.
Desirable:
- Experience of working in an iterative, incremental agile development environment
- Experience in configuring and applying advanced reporting tools for monitoring and analysing the usage of large and complex websites
- Experience of creating web forms supporting features such as postcode lookup and credit card authorisation
- Experience of writing and maintaining database solutions using SQL Server or Oracle
