Audio - Visual Engineer

Do you have experience and operational knowledge of Audio Visual Systems?

One of the UK's longest established and respected AV integrators is looking to recruit engineers for service support and installation.

The company has over 50 years of experience in designing, project managing, engineering and supporting AV systems and products. They operate Nationally and Internationally within the Retail, Education, Leisure and Public Sectors.

The successful candidate will join a team of creative people who are passionate and engaging. You will be self-motivated, proactive with a customer-focused attitude. As a company, they always aim to develop long lasting relationships by working in partnership with their clients, suppliers and all the other stakeholders involved in the project.

As an AV Engineer you will need the following skills:
- Strong initiative and the ability to work independently as required
- A good understanding of both 1st and 2nd fix AV installations
- The ability to be flexible and adapt to various integration situations
- Work from schematics, site plans and cable schedules
- Follow the instructions from Project Managers, but also think laterally and creatively on possible engineering solutions for projects.
- Basic IT competence with the ability to document and deliver Service / Installation Reports.

Ideally you will a hold a full UK driving licence. A valid CSCS card is also needed but can be completed upon appointment.

The salary grade will be dependent on experience, which inclusive of overtime payments can range from £20,000 to £30,000 plus.
