This small, progressive, rapidly expanding practice is currently recruiting for a Senior Accountant to play a pivotal role in the continued success of the practice. This is a fantastic opportunity which offers excellent prospects for future career advancement. Dealing with a mixed portfolio of clients as well as supervising and reviewing the work of junior staff.
About You
- Candidates must demonstrate previous accountancy practice experience in a senior position
- ACA/ACCA qualified or similar
- A good understanding of Microsoft Excel, to at least intermediate level
- Experience of work review of other staff members
- Strong accounting knowledge
- Good working knowledge of Income, Corporation and VAT taxes
- Good communications skills
- Client facing
Responsibilities
- Accounts preparation
- Preparation of tax computations
- Assist more junior members of staff with queries
- Review of other staff members work
- Liaise with clients on accounts and tax queries as required
- Responsible for a client portfolio
