Due to their continued success and move to their new factory, this precision engineering solutions provider is seeking a skilled CNC Turner.Purpose of Role
To produce consistent and high quality components that meet customer expectations and requirements
Skills Required
- Experience in programming and setting machines with Fanuc controls
- Able to read drawings
- Able to work to tight tolerances in the allocated time frame
- Able to check components conform to drawings
- Manufacture jigs and fixtures as required
- Write setting sheets
- Able to work with others as a team
- Able to communicate effectively at all levels
- Able to work unsupervised
Duties
- Machine Programming
- Machine Setting
- Machine Operation
- In-process Inspection
- Swarf Management
- Machine Housekeeping
- Equipment usedAs necessary for the execution of the role
You will be required to work from 7.30 am to 4.00 pm Monday to Thursday and 7.30 am to 3.00 pm on Friday. Overtime, when available, is worked from 4.00pm to 5.30pm Monday to Thursday.
Basic pay is up to £15 per hour for 39 hours per week, with overtime paid at time plus one half
