Senior Chef de Partie for successful independent Restaurant / Gastropub in North Somerset

The Role

As Senior Chef de Partie you will have a passion for fresh food and the enthusiasm and drive needed to work in this busy, upbeat kitchen. With solid experience behind you, your will work with the Head Chef to prepare menus with dishes using fresh and local ingredients, working effectively as a team player with other kitchen staff. Work will be both for the restaurant and for outdoor catering for events on site ( e.g. hog roasts / paellas at weddings, large parties and festivals ).

The Gastropub

A fully refurbished gastropub near Clevedon, the kitchen caters for restaurant, private dining room, group parties and has a large all year round garden.

With a passion for food and wine, the owners are united in their desire to serve fresh, varied and excellent quality food at affordable prices. Where possible ingredients are sourced locally and visits made to local producers / suppliers.

The successful Chef de Partie will be flexible towards working hours including weekends, evenings and Bank Holidays with previous professional "chef" experience. This is a very hands-on role and will be closely supported by the owners to drive the continued success of the business.

Our client also owns a busy tapas restaurant (using Spanish ingredients) in Portishead, and there is the possibility that you will be required on occasion to work here.
