Warehouse Team Leader
Salary/Rate
GBP27,500 - GBP28,500/annum plus up to GBP5k shift allowances
Overtime, 10% Pension and Package

Description
Our client is a Global leader in FMCG manufacturing with a multi-site factory network across the UK. Due to site expansion and recruitment drive, there is an immediate requirement for a Warehouse Team Leader to work a rotating shift pattern. You will support the Warehouse Management team to ensure optimum levels of customer service are achieved through compliance to the processes and procedures of all Warehouse Operations.
Your challenging role:
Role: Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will lead your team to successfully deliver your lines KPI's and drive business performance. Lead and control the shift teams ensuring achievement of the departmental Key Performance Indicators .
Monitor the shift adherence to the Warehouse System, identifying and managing resource and training needs. Coach, develop and lead staff & establish a continuous improvement culture To lead and motivate warehouse teams, working a rotating shift pattern, to deliver outstanding internal and external customer service. Achieve the warehouse plan on time and in full and ensure on time in full vehicle departures.
To ensure that company operating disciplines, procedures and documentation are understood and maintained across shift, to assure product quality and efficiency's.
To ensure that any issues affecting, or likely to affect product quality are investigated and dealt with immediately in line with KPS to ensure minimum disruption.
To co-ordinate manning resource across the shift communicating with opposite shifts to meet production requirements for equipment utilisation, output, efficiency. Challenge team member to make their own decisions, empower them to take responsibility for their output and actions To train and develop your team members to maximise output and team performance
Experience and Education:
Extensive experience with warehouse management systems - Proven experience in a people management role with the ability to deliver strong results through a team. - Demonstrated ability to problem solve, report information/findings, develop recommendations, and implement process changes to improve operational performance
.Strong leadership and coaching skills in order to engage motivate and develop large teams with varying skill sets. - Some Management development would also be advantage. - Managing a high volume production. -
People management skills are critical, combined with Energy, Enthusiasm and initiative
