Position: Temporary Entry Level Facilities Administrator

Location: Theale

Hourly Rate: GBP8 - GBP9 per hour dependent on experience

Hours: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5.30pm

Duration: 3months - 1year

We are currently recruiting for an entry level Facilities Administrator, no previous experience is required. The role involves working in a small but busy department, interacting with other colleagues and contractors on a daily basis. It presents an opportunity to work in a complex team, responsible for the maintenance and development of building-related services across eight locations in the UK.

Core Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will take an active role in day to day departmental administration e.g.

  • Handling Facilities Management Helpdesk calls and emails
  • Follow up and closing of Helpdesk tasks
  • Providing cover for the Facilities Management Helpdesk as necessary
  • Coordination of regular or remedial Facilities Management tasks
  • Liaising with colleagues, visitors and contractors
  • Assisting with team budget, quotes and invoices
  • General office administration
  • Raising purchase orders

The Candidate:

  • Ability to contribute as a team member or to work on own initiative
  • Enthusiastic and positive outlook
  • Good telephone manner
  • Written and verbal communication skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
