Mechanical Building Services Engineer- Intermediate/ Senior. Local Belfast based Consultancy. Mechanical Design Engineer Mechanical Design Engineer (Building Services) required for Belfast based practice. Your new company Belfast based multi disciplinary consultancy with a Broad range of projects both local and national. Long established with a solid reputation this medium sized consultancy offering design and project management services to clients within Healthcare, Education, Leisure, Hospitality, Commercial and Industrial sectors. Your new role Looking to grow their team they hope to appoint an Intermediate to Senior level Mechanical Design Engineer. You will work on projects at all stages from concept and detailed design through to installation and commissioning. Responsible for all Mechanical design including plumbing/ piping and HVAC systems. What you'll need to succeed Currently working in a consultancy as a Mechanical Design Engineer you will have at least 4 years experience and in Building Services design. Either degree qualified in Mechanical/ Building Services Engineering or with an HNC+ qualification and at least 6 years experience, you will be experienced in both private and public sector projects, large and small scale. Ideally you will be proficient in AutoCAD and have a working knowledge of BIM. You will liaise with Clients and other consultants/ contractors as well as statutory bodies, attend design and site meetings, full Mechanical design, system sizing calculations taking project to practical completion.
