Multi Drop Delivery Driver

Our client provides a bespoke specialist knife sharpening service and have been recognised all over the UK for their service excellence since 1901. They are the UK's premier company in their field and an expanding family run business.

Regardless of the size or type of business, their goal is simple - to give their customers high quality sharpened knives.

A hugely exciting opportunity has arisen for a Multi Drop Delivery Driver in the South/Central London area to join their Head Office Team.

As a Multi Drop Delivery Driver, you'll be the face of their company, responsible for forging and maintaining both old and new relationships, whilst upholding the high levels of customer service and on time delivery capabilities they’ve come to be so well known for.

It's a crucial role and one that makes their service unique.

You’ll be driving one of their Citroen vehicles to safely collect and deliver knives to chefs and restaurants within the area, whilst identifying and building upon opportunities for new business.

Delivering around 50 sets a day, you’ll have a good mind for planning and problem solving, as well as excellent time management skills, a head for business development and a highly professional approach to customer service.

Location: Balham, SW12
Salary: £24,300 plus commission, with the possibility to exceed £30,000 after full training
Hours: Full Time, Monday to Friday (overtime offered if available)

Note: A company van is allocated to a driver to travel to and from work paid by the company when the driver is working.

Key Responsibilities:

• Excellent communication skills to develop and maintain strong relationships
• Checking for "cash on delivery" deliveries and ensure all monies are collected
• Checking for "charge" deliveries and ensure all signatures are given
• Submitting paperwork in a timely / professional manner
• Projecting a good company image, both internally and externally
• Providing high quality customer service at all times

Previous driving / sales experience would be beneficial.

You must be over 25 for insurance purposes, have a full, clean, driving license and be presentable.

Salary: £24,300 plus commission
