Contract: 1 Year Fixed Term Contract
Hours: Full time - 36.5 hours per week. Some weekend and evening working may be required from time to time for special events
Starting Salary: From £23,072 to £25,949
Benefits: 20 days holiday and no less than 15 days for Christmas, New Year, Easter, May-Day, Spring and late Bank holidays (or days in lieu thereof), Contributory Pension Scheme
We are looking for a key addition to its team within Membership Services
You will help support and improve the Course Rep system. You will develop productive relationships with academic departments and work closely with the Democracy & Education Policy Manager, Sabbatical Officers and other academic representatives to ensure the student voice is heard in every department.
You will develop faculty specific representation that reflects the needs of students in each faculty. Initiate targeted policy work with faculties and large departments - e.g. the Medical School and Warwick Business School. Develop feedback loops and online consultation. Set up systems to effectively use and disseminate the data resources available to us, such as NSS, PTES and PRES, to academic representatives.
Improvements to our members academic experience is at the heart of the Students' Union, and we are dedicated to ensuring our members get the most from their time at Warwick through social interaction, representation and involvement.
In order to succeed, you must possess strong administrative skills and expertise. You must also possess excellent communication skills and be able to work as part of a team.
