Site Maintenance Officer

40 hours per week / 52 weeks per year

Salary range £15,000 - £20,000 per annum

The College has a requirement for 2 Site Maintenance Officers who will be required to work across all Tresham sites. The working pattern will include evening and weekends on a rota basis.

The Site Maintenance Officer will be to support the College Management in the maintenance, security and development of the college premises, such that the facilities and overall environment fully support the overall aims and visions of the College.

Based at our Kettering campus, the successful individual will be required to work cross all campuses. Therefore, the successful candidate will need to have a flexible approach to providing support to all of the Colleges sites as and when the need arises, particularly where the site has no allocated staff in order to undertake the duties' identified below, and provide cover for other site staff due to sickness, holidays or when they may need to be temporarily relocated to undertake specific specialist tasks.

Applicants should have a good all round level of education to include Maths and English to GCSE (Grade A - C) or equivalent level (level 2). You should have some experience in electrics, plumbing, carpentry, painting and decorating and general DIY type repairs and be experienced in all aspects of manual handling. The post holder should be physically fit and should be prepared to work flexible hours. Knowledge of heating systems and time served (appropriate) Tradesman with current knowledge of best working practice are desirable.
