Second Chef in Pub / Restaurant - Somerset
Our client is a traditional village pub/restaurant set on the edge of the Somerset Levels in the pretty village of North Curry, near Taunton, Somerset. The business has been run by the present owner for the last 17 years and the emphasis is on good food and service to maintain the reputation that has been built up. They are currently recruiting for a Second Chef to join their team on a permanent basis.
Candidate Requirements:
- Looking to improve their position and experience
- Capable of working alone on the Head Chef's days off and annual leave
- Own transport, due to rural location
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Experience cooking with fresh ingredients e.g. fish and seafood dishes
The successful candidate will be required to work a 5 day week including weekends, split shifts comprising mornings to end of lunch period and early to mid-evenings.
Salary will be by negotiation depending on age and experience.
