Description:
Juniper Training are looking to recruit a Centre Administrator to work part time, 2.5 days per week. This vacancy will involve a base at our centre in Telford with travel/work in Shrewsbury.

The Centre Administrator’s role will involve:
- To maintain effective reception/administration systems to support the business
- To support the Performance manager, ensuring the smooth running of the Centre
- To communicate effectively with colleagues and the CSS Administration team
- To safeguard the welfare of all students, preventing radicalisation and promoting British Values
The Centre Administrator’s key responsibilities include:
- To greet & direct customer/students by telephone and face to face
- To maintain visitors/staff records for fire safety reasons
- To maintain excellent levels of customer service to both internal & external customers
- To maintain comprehensive and accurate databases and other systems, as appropriate
- To process student’s bursary payments accurately and in a timely manner
- To register students for appropriate qualifications with awarding bodies
- To maintain accurate records of student referrals, starts and leavers, completing appropriate paperwork to support the Centre Staff and CSS Admin team
- To maintain/order stationery and centre supplies
- To maintain petty cash, keeping accurate records of expenditure
- To maintain centre equipment and report faults in a timely manner
- To collect/send internal and external post
- To retrieve general enquiry emails and forward to the correct member of staff
- To carry out general duties to ensure the smooth running of the centre
Person Specification:
- Business Admin level 2 (desirable)
- IT qual - ECDL or similar (desirable)

- Sound grasp of own literacy, numeracy & IT
