Bristol (with travel across the region and occasionally around the UK)

As the Learning & Development Trainer, you’ll deliver an end-to-end training and development service to all Securitas employees. Reporting to our academy in Milton Keynes, you will deliver training to staff regarding security, first aid, customer service, health & safety and fire.

You’ll act as the primary source of knowledge and support for employee training needs, and will play an instrumental part in developing leadership-focused management teams in our business. 

Supporting the L&D strategy, you’ll help to develop innovative, inclusive and challenging learning resources and activities. You’ll create courses that enable employees to build on their existing abilities and realise their full potential. 

Additionally, your duties will involve: 

- Delivering interesting and motivating lessons that engage learners 
- Designing and implementing assessments for sessions and courses 
- Signposting learners to further education and self-development opportunities relevant to their discipline 
- Carrying out risk assessments of learning environments 

To be considered, you will need: 

- Experience of facilitating coaching and personal development in a multi-site commercial environment on an on-going basis 
- A Level 3 PTLLS or equivalent qualification, such as the Level 3 Certificate in Delivering Learning or Level 3 Award in Education and Training 
- A Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (CAVA), or equivalent, such as the A1 or D32 

Self-motivated and empathetic, as the Learning & Development Trainer, you’ll have excellent communication and relationships-building skills. A strong customer focus and superb time-management abilities are also key. 

Experience of large scale training operations would be beneficial to your application, as would experience of change management.
