Experienced Bespoke Stand Builder

This is a 2-month contract with a view to becoming permanent. Rate of pay will be £13 to £15 per hour dependent on experience working a minimum of 37.5 hours per week.

This leading bespoke exhibition stand specialist is looking for self-employed sub-contractors to join their team working on the manufacture and installation of bespoke exhibition stands for their range of great clients.

Main responsibilities

- Work within a team to manufacture and install bespoke exhibition stands and bespoke displays
- Maintain a clean and efficient work environment at all times, complying with Health & Safety regulations
- Ability to work from scale CAD drawings
- Work offsite on the Installation of stands across the UK, meeting tight deadlines for build-up and breakdown
- Liaise with project manager and client to ensure all installs meet client expectations

The ideal candidate will have,

- Considerable experience in laminating, carpentry, woodworking machinery and some experience in shop-fitting, or bespoke stand building would be an advantage
- A minimum of NVQ level 2 in carpentry and joinery (or equivalent) and experience of using a wide range of power tools
- A flexible and adaptable approach to work
- An energetic and enthusiastic disposition to assist them in maintaining our standards of excellent customer services
- An eye for detail
- The adaptability to work unsupervised or as part of a team

Place of Work
You may be required to work at their Blackburn premises or from any venue within the UK where the company operates.
